22. Negotiated and drafted the detailed provisions for dual fuel gas and HSD IPP’s in Power Purchase Agreements including the following:



  • Reached agreement on an expedited procedure for invoicing for HSD due to its expense.
  • Procedure for dispatch on HSD and its amount during the course of a year (in the absence of any policy on HSD).
  • Conversion period and payment procedures from gas to oil in the event of failure to obtain further a further gas allocation.
  • Minimum take or pay provisions for gas supplies & failure to provide the same.
  • Amount of fuel reserves/inventory to be maintained for HSD.
  • Making the project specific Consents to be provided to a gas pipeline IPP project.



23. Negotiated Implementation Agreement (IA) between Fauji Mari & GOP including the key provisions providing for failure/shortage of  gas for dedicated gas field power projects and the key maintenance and outage periods, used as a model in Pakistan for other dedicated gas field projects in Pakistan.



24. Drafted ECC Summaries including those on gas supply and liquidated damages for the Government of Pakistan.



25. Legal Opinion on Gas Supply & Purchase Agreement for the import of gas to the UAE from Iran for Sharjah Water & Electricity Authority.



26. Advising Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority in relation to various legal agreements like MOU’s, amendments to existing GSPA's etc.
